Camp TπŸ•

I looooooove summer camp! It’s my favourite thing to do in the summer because you get to stay overnight, do a whole bunch of fun activities, meet new people, and you can disappear from the rest of the world because you aren’t allowed your phone! πŸ€ͺπŸ˜πŸ˜„ When I arrived there I went over to my cabin and plopped my stuff on the last top bunk available. Then I met my cabin mates who were super nice and fun. It was my first time ever at Camp Tulakadik, and I am SO going back! Here are all the activities at Camp T from their WordPress blog:

I think my favourite one out of those would be swimming! If you go and walk all the way down to the lake there’s a big water trampoline and Saturn in the water. You have to grab a life jacket and swim out to it. The activity I did the most would probably be beach volleyball, and I tried to kick the ball over the net because apparently that’s allowed. Beside the volleyball court is the pool, and there was a pool party and it was boys versus girls so I got to destroy the boys with water and whip sponges at their heads πŸ˜„

I had fun raiding the kitchen, filling up on candy, playing games, and going to vespers to learn about God and worship him. The theme for the week was secret agent, so we all had fun playing sock tag! Sock tag is a game where you take one of your socks and discretely tag your assigned target with it. If there are any witnesses, your tag is invalid, and your target’s name is best kept secret. I only lasted a little more than twenty-four hours, I got out pretty easily by one of the boys from our bubble cabin. Oh yea, since it’s COVID-19 and all that stuff, my girls cabin bubbled with another boys cabin, and they were the ones who we did all our activities with for the whole entire week. But anyway, the kid who got me out for sock tag was one of the leaders for the boys cabin, and he got 7 people out in one day. I got one person out for the whole game. πŸ˜‘

But Camp T was still fun! And I am SO going back! Yay! Byeeeee!

  1. Yes, sounds fun IN eastern CANADA where it is perhaps cooler than summer in Kentucky. Ready for snow here! Too hot and humid for these old bones. 😫
