Hi! My name is Ariela and I’m the only behind this blog; arielaonthego. This blog was started when I was 12, as a way for me to journal about my travels publicly and sharpen my writing skills. I figured that I had gone on so many trips that I might as well share my experiences with others and give my own review of sorts. Since then, this blog has grown a lot. I’ve made unexpected friends, and I’ve branched out into a lot of different things, like book reviews and creative writing.

I’ve visited over 50 countries and territories, and I’ve lived in 4: various locations in Canada, the United States (Florida), Thailand (Bangkok), and Mexico (Merida). My ethnicity is Filipino/Canadian, and I am very proud to have the opportunity to live and experience so many different cultures. Its one of my favourite parts about travelling. My favourite on the go hobbies are reading (though, books can get a bit heavy sometimes), sketching, and writing. I’m studying photography and digital media to be a better content creator, and to express myself creatively through the lens of a camera. I also dabble in sports like roller blading, swimming and biking.
