  1. 1. Yes! I love to read! 2. I actually just bought Son of a Critch and it’s on my list to read. 3. I have heard of Nimbus, yes. 4. I am like a kid in a candy store for local bookstores! 5. Generally, local bookstores are my first port of call. Then, if I can’t get it there, I go to a bookstore chain like Indigo or Barns and Noble, depending on my location in the world. I only use Amazon for books that are hard to track down

    1. That’s great! Thank you for your answers! Lol, “Son of a Critch” love the title. I am the same when it comes to bookstore, Amazon is a last resort, lol! (But if someone publishes a book through Amazon then I don’t really have a choice) 😀

  2. Idk if I would be able to get the card if I win(what is Tim Hortons? but here are my answers:
Do I like to read……….hahahhaahhahahaah🤣 YES! I LOVE IT! My favorite thing!
I am not sure. I usually read the books and enjoy them, not look where they were published. But it is possible.
    Nimbus, and Acornpress.
Yes! I would love to have a store of my own, but probably won’t.
Usually thrift store or my family gets them for me off amazon. I read most of my books from the library.

    1. LoL, Tim’s is Canadian franchise, the only way that you would have heard of it would be if you’ve been to Canada before, or if you live up in northern USA XD
Thank you for your answers! So glad to hear them, because I know you are a avid reader! 😀

  3. I am an older person who was an English teacher. I’m not sure if I’m the kind you want to hear from as opposed to younger readers, but here are my responses to your questions:

I like to read. I am a slow reader, meaning it takes me a long time to read a book.

I read a novel for young adults called THE KRAKEN, set in Atlantic Canada.

I’m not familiar with these publishers except as you might have mentioned them in your reviews.

I very much like supporting local bookstores. And bookstore cats.

I buy books from many places. Brick-and-mortar stores close to home. IndieBound and similar groups on line. Amazon and other big, booksellers. From special-interest sites such as the Library of Congress site (USA). Author sites as well.

    Good luck!

    1. *cringes cuz that is not what I wanted to hear* Just kidding, hahaha! That’s why I’m a youth ambassador! And when I’m done, every bookworm will know about Atlantic books, MWAHAHAHAHA!

5 There is a local store in the small town next to me and I do visit Chapters as well.

( and of no need in your survey but I did help a man write and publish his own book about his life as a Canadian Minstrel )

  7. As an addicted life-time reader, I read all kinds of books. Am just finishing a YA book called: The Marrow Thieves, by Cherie Dimaline. I highly recommend it. Check it out. All the best, Muriel
