THIS BOOK IS THE BEST SCI-FI BOOK THAT I HAVE EVER READ. Sure, I haven’t read THAT many sci-fi books before, BUT I do enjoy one where everything is explained to me. Where the characters are figuring out things along with the reader. That way it isn’t this confusing, and the readers aren’t exposed to fancy terms that no one has any idea about what they mean. Well, in my opinion this book did everything right. So I give it five stars. There was aliens, more aliens with super high-tech gear, time travel, assassins, weird people trying to get away from the assassins, action, a hint of romance, and even zombies! And the best part is that it’s all set in Canada, and written by an Atlantic Canadian author 😆

It was very well written, and I can’t wait to read more of the series!

Alec is the strongest Potential this world has ever seen. He’s capable of creating rips into time itself (surprisingly this didn’t confuse me, time travel is always tricky to write but it actually was pretty good), and for that he’s being hunted by someone who’s looking for people with powerful genetic traits that cannot be controlled. People like Alec and Riley. In this race against time, people die, traitors are exposed, and kids have to save the world, because those are the best kinds of people to save it 👌🏽

There would definitely be more of this review, BUT it’s tricky to add more without spoiling it. So I’ll just leave it at that 😀
