I spent 3 or 4 months there back in 2012. I was newly retired back then and had only intended spending 10 days there but liked it so much I kept extending the time! Back then there was very little in the way of street art. I did the Funicular train a few times and went up the hard way many times during my stay – hundreds of steps and in that humidity I used to sweat buckets! On The way back down at the bottom there was a juice stall which was a blessing! The local buses were very good and I used to go all over the island by bus. They seem to have developed it quite a bit. I don’t remember the glass walkway being there when I was there nor the cat cafe, or the street with the coloured lights. I would love to go there again – also Singapore which is another of my fave places.
