Review:
I wanted to read this because I was considering a career as a pilot! This book was really great for providing information, but I didn’t really realize that this was a very simple reading level. This is better suited for younger audiences, as it didn’t go into any technical terms of the sort.
I like that this book highlighted diversity, spotlighting black and women pilots in aviation. It’s very inspiring and I liked reading about all of them!
One thing about being a pilot that’s harder for people is the accessibility aspect of it. That’s something I was thinking about a lot, and this book really show the different pathways each person uses to achieve their dreams. I think this book is educative and informative with an emphasis on personal journey and accomplishments.
This book is good for whoever wants inspiration or to learn about important Canadian pilots. The book is very well done, the illustrations are nice, and it is well researched.
