LEGO!

What are your hobbies? Something that you love to do that relax you after a long day at school or at work. My hobbies are drawing, reading, and LEGO building. I like to build LEGO because itโ€™s fun to build something new that you can play with later. My mom’s hobby is crocheting. She has made me lots of things like a Harry Potter scarf and a hat.

Do you see a cat on the picture? I HAD a cat, but it’s a long story so I will post about it next time.

Some of my creations include; The Harry Potter Quidditch Pitch, the Hogwarts Castle, and the Knight Bus. Not ALL my LEGOs are Harry Potter. I also have some LEGO Friends, and Nexo Knights, but you probably have never heard of Nexo Knights. Itโ€™s a medieval, yet futuristic world of five young knights who protect the kingdom of Knighton. It’s pretty cool, and it was on Netflix. I also love to build new things. I sometimes disassemble a set, then combine the parts with another set to make something new.

As you can probably tell by now, I really like LEGOs. One of my favorite TV shows is LEGO Masters! I really like it because of the cool challenges that they give out to the competitors. Sometimes I try to build the things that they assign to the competitors, but that doesn’t go too well… Someday, I hope to go to Denmark to see this huge LEGO building with a really big LEGO tree, and a room with every LEGO set ever created! They call the place, The LEGO House. This place would be so awesome to visit! I’ve also been to LEGOLAND in Florida. It’s quite the drive from our house, but it is worth it! There are some roller coasters, and motion rides, and there’s even a 4D cinema, and of course at LEGOLAND there’s all things LEGO! I’ve never stayed at the LEGO Hotel though. But, however I think that would be a wonderful experience!

LEGOs aren’t my only hobby though, I also like to read. I like reading sooo much, that I can finish a Harry Potter book in about two hours. Maybe less. I think that my friend, Charlotte could also do that. She’s a pretty fast reader too! I just finished reading the book series, Keepers of the Lost Cities. Check it out maybe you will like it too. I really like to draw as well. If I’m trying to draw someone, it is very hard to get the face exactly perfect. Sometimes I’m working on the same piece for days until I get it just right.

Okay, I think that’s it for this post, but before I end, you can comment below, and give me something to draw. Make it hard! I want a challenge! I’ll post your requests on my next post!

  1. Y-you like HttyD.
    And L-lego.
    And drawing.

You are now officially awesome in my book. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

My hobbies are similar, drawing, (as you know) collecting LEGO, mostly minifigures from Ninjago, (oh if you havenโ€™t built a Ninjago set, I highly recommend theyโ€™re AWESOME) and uh watching legos. Watching LEGO ninja do stuff. ๐Ÿ˜‘ And I LOVE IT. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Oh, I also needle felt. That is my primary craft beside drawing. Itโ€™s so much fun when you stop fearing for your fingers getting stabbed. ๐Ÿ˜€

Drawing idea… How โ€˜bout your favorite character from HttyD, riding Yakkity Jorgensen. (If you havenโ€™t watched RttE or you somehow forgot Yakkity, he has his own page in the How To Train Your Dragon Wiki.)

Longest comment ever but it was necessary.

  2. Another great story. How many Lego pieces do you think you have.. I know they are fun to put together.. lots of imagination involved. YOu want an art challenge… How about a drawing showing more of Hopewell Rocks.. that is a very neat place.

  3. Omg, you put all of that together by yourself? That’s amazing!

I love Harry Potter and have probably read every book atleast a few times but I still can’t read one in under two hours. That’s amazing!

Art Challenge – How about a HP themed challenge? Draw a picture showing one important snippet/item from each of the 7 books. The snippet/item should be self explanatory as to which book it’s from. (Eg: The Goblet of Fire)

  4. I love reading too!! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ I always say my bffs (best fictional friends) are characters from [insert fictional character here] ๐Ÿ˜‚
The keeper of the lost city series is great!

  5. Woah I love the quidditch pitch!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™Œ
I want you to draw a scene from Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone- where Harry , Ron and Hermione are in the devil’s snare!

That’s so random- but pretty challenging. I think.

  6. I love LEGO too!! Weโ€™ve had years of LEGO between both my boys. Iโ€™ve stepped on more than I can count. Ouch! My older brother always had LEGOโ€™s too so Iโ€™ve been around those amazing bricks my entire life. Definitely one of my favorites too. I love to draw too, but donโ€™t get the chance anymore.
I love to garden, cook and bake, photography, reading, & I love hiking and being in nature.
