Coast to Coast Canada Adventure

Hey guys! Sorry for the delay for this announcement, we were waiting to confirm the details with the charity we are going to help out, and some of our sponsors. This post was created by my parents because they are cool. So here it goes!

People have been asking us, “Where are you going to spend your winter?” Our friends know that we usually spend our winter at our second home in Orlando, Florida. I already mentioned that our original plan was to go to Thailand and visit other Asian countries for six months. But, that was before the pandemic happened.

Because we are quite flexible, and able to adapt with current situations, my parents decided that we are going on a Coast to Coast Canada Adventure for about seven months. We are going to stop at some of Canada’s most famous landmarks. From the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast, we will go up north. We plan to see the polar bears, killer whales, northern lights, the puffins, icebergs, the tundra, prairies, badlands, Rockies, and many more.

As a Canadians, we can travel to different countries and territories right now. That includes Bermuda, Europe and many more. But we choose not to, and we are not yet comfortable being in the airport or in the plane yet.

Canada is the second largest country in the world, with a total area of 9,984,670 km2. That is huge! We are going to travel the country with our orange SUBARU Crosstrek and we are going to stay in lots of hotels. It’s going to be 20,310km (12,620m) plus driving around the country. We know where to stop, but we are still planning and checking the places we want to visit.

We are traveling with our bikes and our hiking gear. We plan to do a lot of outdoor activities. This is not our first time going on a road trip during the pandemic. In March 2020, we traveled from Orlando, Florida to New Brunswick, Canada at the height of the pandemic. Our temporary destination for five months is in British Columbia, and we will explore more from there.

The picture above is a map of Winnipeg to Churchill, Manitoba. The means of travel is by train for two days 😮 or by plane. The town of Churchill sits on the polar bear migration route during the months of October and November. I’m excited to see the polar bears in the wild!

We are also raising funds for Food Banks Canada. Due to the pandemic, a lot of people lost their jobs and they rely on the Food Banks to make ends meet. Click on FOOD BANKS CANADA to learn more about them and how they are helping the communities. They do a lot more than just providing food. If you enjoyed reading my articles here on my blog, and want to help me and my family raise funds, at the end of my posts, you will see a donate button. This button will take you directly to the Food Banks Canada’s donation website and you can choose the amount you want to donate. Our goal is to raise ten thousand dollars! As you can see, our car has a donate sign. We are creating awareness that there’s a need to fulfill. My family has been a supporter of Food Banks for long time. To kick off our adventure, we are making a $500 donation to the Food Banks Canada.

You can follow me on Instagram @arielaonthego or on YouTube arielaonthego for up to date posts. You can also leave a comment. Let us know when you made a donation, and wish us happy travels!
