Goodbye Middle School! + La Ronde

Hi everyone! Last week, June 25th was officially the end of my school year! It was 180 days exactly 🤪 I’m very happy it was over! Math was just the same old math from a year before, but a little harder. I’m tired of looking for Math’s “x” girlfriend, she probably moved on… 🤪 We did so many road trips across Canada in eight months that I did my school work on the road and many different hotels and resorts! I passed my CAT Test which so awesome! I survived, and all is good! I’m having a great summer break! Yay! 😄

Anyways, there was no big celebrations this year, because I’m home schooled. Some of my friends that attend traditional school had prom. BUT, I celebrated a year end party with my youth group. Our group leader, Ms. Nicky threw a BBQ and bonfire party, and she surprised all the middle school graduates with a cake and gifts! She’s the sweetest and so are the other ladies that help her out with the group.

We also did this Tik Tok hack where you scoop the cake up in a cup, and then eat it from there. Personally, I don’t think it’s the best idea because the cake has lots of weird circles instead of straight lines when you cut it. And the cup gets really sticky with frosting when you scoop up the cake with it.

My amazing mom and dad got me a new iPhone 12 📱 as a graduation present, and we went shopping for new clothes! Yea, I know, I’m TOTALLY spoiled 😛 My dad says that when he grows up, he wants to be ME! 😂 My mom also got me some skin care products for my face. They are from France, and 100% made out of plants! I’ll do a review in the future you let you guys know if it’s a good brand 😄.

We went on a road trip, AGAIN! My dad is not yet worn out completely 😝But it’s been more than a year since I got to see my grandpa and my Uncle Rob that live in another province. So we decided to visit them because we don’t have to quarantine to go back home. Canada is doing pretty good when it comes to vaccinating Canadians and the COVID-19 case are very, very low, and the restrictions are being lifted. BUT, As another reward for finishing middle school, my parents also took me to a Six Flags amusement park in Quebec called La Ronde. The last time I was in an amusement park was March 2020 at Universal Studios in Florida, USA. It’s been a while, so I was very, very happy to go La Ronde (Which my friend told me translates to The Round in English).

It was really fun, lots of roller coasters to go on, and opportunities to scream my head off 😄 I think my favourite ride would be Endör, it’s a roller coaster and it’s really cool, and fun, and it goes upside down 😁 I also went on the Demon, I got twisted and turned upside down, and around and around, it was so fun, but I don’t get why all the people went screaming so hard. My mom isn’t in any of the pictures though, because she’s the photographer 😝 And she don’t go in any rides with us because she’s scared. She wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel, but the line up was so long….

I also got to eat my first Beaver Tail, a popular Canadian dessert. It’s fried flat dough shaped like a beaver tail. You can choose different toppings such as whipped cream, banana slices, crumbled Oreos, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate hazelnut spread. You should try it when you visit Canada! Even the former President Obama had one when he visited Canada in 2009.

That pretty much wraps up this post, thank you for reading all the way until the end 😊 byeeeee!

Do you like roller coasters or any thrill rides? Let me know in the comments below? 🎢🎢🎢

  2. Congratulations on your growth and promotion! Continue to follow Jesus most of all through all the steps of life. When doubts come (and they WILL!) always go back to the Cross and the Empty Tomb of Jesus. He IS risen, and the fact is more established than the founding events of the USA or Canada.
Trust in the truth of history and you will find the Truth of the universe.

  3. Congratulations on finishing your school year! Looks like you’re having a lot of fun. I haven’t had a beaver tail yet, nor poutine. Now that I’m vaxxed and relaxed I plan to have more Canadian food

  4. That book on the bottom of the stack caught my eye. What happens if your neighbor is female? Maybe ‘He’ should be amended to ‘They’ to cover all bases and be fully PC compliant! Funny how things catch the eye like that. On the cake thing: there are actually cake recipes specifically designed for being baked in cups. Loads of them on You Tube 😎. Enjoy your holidays.

  5. Looks like an awesome time. I live close to the original Six Flags (over Texas) amusement park. I love roller coasters, but can’t handle the ones that flip me upside down too many times. I also can’t handle the rides that just spin around and around. Sadly, they upset my stomach. That mostly comes from getting old. LOL!

    1. Woah, it must be cool to live near Six Flags! Hehe, roller coasters aren’t for everyone 🤪
