Digitally Lit – Job Anniversary

Heyyy everyone! So today is August 15th, and it’s kind of a special day for me because I’ve been with Digitally Lit for one year now! It’s been an absolutely wonderful experience getting to work with super super awesome people, promoting books published in Atlantic Canada, and getting to do a lot of cool and fun bookish related things!

So for those of you who might not know what Digitally Lit is, it’s a youth engagement strategy that’s main purpose is to get people excited and engaged about Atlantic Canadian books! Or really just any books in general, because these days technology is everywhere, and reading a book is much better than being absorbed in a screen watching TikToks or movies, YouTube or Instagram Reels.

I’ve read many books for Digitally Lit from Nimbus Publishing, Acorn Press, Breakwater Books, Goose Lane Editions are as follows:

The Elephant Talks to God

Kira’s Secret, Kira’s Crossing, Kira’s Quest

The Town That Drown

The Fog of Forgetting

Queen of the Crows

Ghost Boy of MacKenzie House

Annaka

Bluenose Magic

The Last Time I Saw Her

The Memory Chair

The Family Way

305 Lost Buildings of Canada

My Indian

Edge of Time

Time of Treason

The Gunsmith Daughter

The Lost Sister

Finding Avalon

Let me know if you read any of these books! Bye for now! πŸ‘‹πŸ½

  1. Dear Ariela, You are an amazing young woman on whom the Spirit of the Lord rests. I suspect He has great plans for your life, but don’t look for His plans in popularity, fame or wealth. These are all the things the world seeks. Understand He is not opposed to these things as long as they are submitted to His approval and fit with His design for your life.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)
