Peggy’s Cove Photo Dump!

Peggy’s Cove in Nova Scotia is one of the most photographed landmarks in Canada! There are massive rocks, and they make a pretty fun to climb. (But it can also be dangerous… so be careful.) The lighthouse was once a post office where you could send postcards to your friends, but sadly it closed down. 🤷🏽‍♀️ There’s hiking trails, restaurants, and gift shops in the area to make your visit more enjoyable!

According to the romantic Peggy’s Cove folktale, A young girl named Peggy was traveling to Halifax to meet her fiancée when the ship she was traveling on was foundered on the rocks. She was rescued by locals, and when visitors went to see her they would say they were going to see “Peggy of the Cove”.

  1. Too bad about the lighthouse closing down. The way I see it, anything with Cove in the title is worth seeing!

  2. oh, oh, oh! We’ve been there! It still looks as I remember it . . . course, my old brain seems to remember a lot of things that may not have happened! 😂

    1. Hehe, the rocks are the best part! Okay, I mean the view is pretty awesome, but all you get to do is stare at it 🤪
