My most favorite dessert so far!

Are you cake person or a pie person? Or maybe a chocolate person or an ice cream person?

My family and I love to try new restaurants, especially when we are here, and exploring the west coast of Canada for six months! We ventured out to Kelowna, the biggest city in the Okanagan Valley. There are SO many restaurants at the marina, but this time my dad had a craving for BBQ so we tried the Memphis Blues BBQ. It was even featured on the Food Network TV Chanel. The beef brisket, ribs, and seasoned fries were so GOOD!

Canada’s Warmest Welcome

Hello everyone! You guys have probably been wondering where we have been for a while, I kept saying, ‘’the Okanagan Valley,’’ but I never really said WHERE exactly… We are staying in Osoyoos, (pronounced “soo-yoos”). The name Osoyoos means ‘’narrowing of the waters’’ in the Okanagan language (Syilx’tsn), and it was originally supposed to be ‘’soo-yoos” but the settlers wanted to add an “O” because the other towns start with an “O” such us Oliver, Okanagan Falls, Omak, and Oroville.

Lest We Forget

On the eleventh hour on the eleventh day on the eleventh month, Canadians celebrate Remembrance Day. We wear poppies on our shirts to show that we honour the veterans and the soldiers that fought in World Wars I and II, the Korean War, the Afghanistan War, and all the wars that the Canadians participated in.

Newspaper,Radio, and More!

Do you listen to the radio, or read the news? If you live in New Brunswick. You might have just seen me on the newspapers or heard me on the radio. They both have helped me out in spreading the word creating awareness to stop hunger by donating to Food Banks.

I was featured by a local newspaper, called the Kings County Recorder. The article was titled, Youngster Road Tripping for Food Banks, and with it was my favourite picture of me in front of the Colosseum.

No Fuel?!

Hi everyone! I’m writing this blog in Alberta! We arrived safely out west in one piece. We finally had a downtime from all the traveling, and we are close to our destination in British Columbia. Anyway, as you probably know, I am touring across Canada doing a fundraiser for Food Bank in a bright orange car. And as the title says, we had no fuel! Is this true? Well, read on to find out!

Early Wednesday morning on October 13th, 8:00 to be exact, an orange car left the tiny, but not so tiny house on the top of the hill. Rain poured and lightning cracked! Okay, not really, but the RAIN was real. We were on out merry way Ontario. That was just the beginning of the Coast to Coast Canada Adventure. Ontario was were we’d be spending the next three days. Once we arrived in Ottawa, Canada’s Capital. We headed straight to our hotel where we were greeted by my Uncle Rob, my favourite uncle. Oh yea, and if my other uncles are reading this… uhm, sorry? 😀 Ottawa is a very beautiful city. It’s nice to walk or bike at The Parliament Hill. There’s a lot of things to do like visiting museums and galleries. There’s so much that I can’t tell everything. Here’s the link about Ottawa https://ottawatourism.ca/en
